چکیده
Owing to the global coverage and high visibility of navigation satellite systems (GNSS), passive radar using GNSS satellites as transmitters opportunity has shown great potential for moving target detection, its possibility detect short-range maritime targets been verified. Nevertheless, existing methods always require tens seconds echo integration, which is not ideal detection with maneuverability. To solve this problem, a bistatic configuration BeiDou geostationary earth orbit (GEO) illuminators opportunity, suited short-time coherent integration signals, presented. In addition, corresponding signal processing method introduced. achieve more continuous trajectory target, used fuse range-Doppler maps obtained individually from multiple GEO also described. The effectiveness functionality our proposed algorithms are demonstrated an experiment in ferry was real-time location data were adopted reference.

Moving Target Detection by Using New LTE-Based Passive Radar
This paper examines the feasibility of Long Term Evolution (LTE)-based passive radar for detecting ground moving targets. Specifically, the focus of this paper is to describe the proposed LTE-based passive radar system and to conduct an experiment using a real LTE eNB transmitter as an illumination source. Seven scenarios were carried out to investigate the detection performance of the proposed...
متن کاملA Soft-Input Soft-Output Target Detection Algorithm for Passive Radar
Abstract: This paper proposes a novel scheme for multi-static passive radar processing, based on soft-input soft-output processing and Bayesian sparse estimation. In this scheme, each receiver estimates the probability of target presence based on its received signal and the prior information received from a central processor. The resulting posterior target probabilities are transmitted to the c...
متن کاملMotion parameter estimation of multiple ground moving targets in multi-static passive radar systems
Multi-static passive radar (MPR) systems typically use narrowband signals and operate under weak signal conditions, making them difficult to reliably estimate motion parameters of ground moving targets. On the other hand, the availability of multiple spatially separated illuminators of opportunity provides a means to achieve multi-static diversity and overall signal enhancement. In this paper, ...
متن کاملRobust Moving Target Detection and Parameter Estimation Based on Three-channel SAR Images
Ground moving target indication (GMTI) is an important function of many airborne or spaceborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems. The detection of ground moving targets based on SAR images, called SAR-GMTI, is a popular way. It is difficult for a conventional single-channel SAR system to achieve good GMTI performance, because of the difficulty in separating the ground moving targets from t...
متن کاملMoving Target Detection and Trajectory Estimation Using SAR Data
Conventional Synthetic Aperture Radar processing leads to moving targets being imaged displaced from their real positions and blurred. This is mainly due to the used reference phase no longer being valid, including an additional Doppler-shift and a Doppler-spread. Since these effects are not considered in the focusing algorithm, the resulting SAR image shows the moving targets defocused and/or ...
